2019 Roccheviberti Nebbiolo Langhe

A great introduction to Nebbiolo from Piedmont and what many call baby Barolo. This wine sees a year and half in larger oak barrels then the wine rests for a further few month in bottle prior to release.

Classic notes of crushed rose petals, leather and red cherry. The palate is equally classic with red fruit, gripping tight tannins with a long, persistent finish refreshing acidity.

Lots going on here between the brightness of the fruit and the architecture bvut yet is still refreshing with a nimbleness to it. Classy, sophisticated and refined. Drink now or hold for a further five to ten years for the reward of patience.
