2021 Battles Chardonnay

Perhaps one of our most popular wines currently this gets constant positive feedback and re-orders.

Made by the super talented Lance Parkin (who sadly has a terrible pony tail) who has managed to craft one of the best Chardonnays out of Western Australia. Gentle oak use with delicate lees work add spice and texture. Perfectly ripe white nectarine and grapefruit interlace with nut, toast and burnt butter.

It's generous and mouth filling yet not without a crisp acid line that provides momentum and direction to the wine.

This is excellent drinking now but will easily settle in the cellar for next five years or so.
