2021 Battles Blendaberg Riesling Blend

For those times when Strasbourg is a little too far away but you need a taste of Alsace. This is a blend of Riesling, Gewürztraminer and Pinot Gris that come together from the Swinney Vineyard, in Frankland River, of the Great Southern in W.A.

Bright and nimble with flesh on the palate this shows expressive aromatics and is still clean and refreshing. A diverse, complex spectrum of fruit without being muddled or clumsy this has pear, melon, guava all together with some florality in the mix.

Lots of cut and coil from the cooler vintage which brings a great line of acidity.

One of our favourite wines from one of our favourite producers out of Western Australia.
