2016 Roccheviberti Barolo Bricco Boschis

From perhaps the vintage of the past decade from one of the most revered sites in Barolo this is a blessing of a wine to be offered.

Certainly a wine that will cellar for another ten years without blinking it is showing extremely well now.

Considerable concentration and depth of fruit the spectrum here of descriptors is wide. Swirling with dark cherry, raspberry, dried orange rind, anise and spice on the nose. The palate offer chewy yet ripe tannins with a weighty texture and density with powerful persistence and direction. There is a lot going on here.

Although powerful the wine is still some elegant at the same time and undeniably classic in its expression of Barolo.
