2016 Weszeli Riesling Purus

Toto, we're not in Clare Valley anymore.

This dense, textured multi stratum wine shows a different expression of Riesling that tilts towards a more tropical expression of guava, green mango and apricot.

Juicy and refreshing with higher acidity, texture here is a real feature with a pulsing long finish punctuated by a strong mineral, saline persistence.

This unfolds in the glass and opens with time. A real treat with food pairings.
